Pre-Breakfast Snack

There are many things that you can choose to eat for your pre-breakfast snack during pregnancy. Like you can take a glass of plain cow’s milk, dry fruits, milkshake, almond milk, apple juice, tomato juice. Then for breakfast you can opt to eat a bowl of fruits which will provide you with all the essential nutrients. You can even have wheat rave upma with lots of vegetables, rice sevai with many vegetables, oats porridge, vegetable omelet, mixed bean cutlets or patties. You can even try poha with different kinds of vegetables, whole wheat toast with butter and omelet, vegetable khandvi, cheese toast or cheese and vegetable sandwich. You can even try some fruits to take along with breakfast like sweet fig, oranges, dates, apricots, bananas. Paranthas with fillings of carrot, beans, spinach, dal, cheese with curd, cottage cheese.

Mid-Morning Snack and Lunch

For your mid-morning snack and lunch you can take chicken soup, spinach soup, tomato soup, creamy spinach soup, carrot and beet soup. For lunch there are many food options to choose from and these are also healthy and nutritious. Like you can take curd rice, vegetable khichdi, jeera or pea rice with raita. Parantha with sprouted beans salad, kofta rice with curry, grilled chicken with a bowl of curd. You can even try parantha with dal and a bowl of curd, rice, dal, mint raita and a fruit. Cottage cheese parantha with butter and vegetable salad. Roti with any kind of dal you like, vegetable and a bowl of curd, lemon rice with peas and your favorite vegetable salad.

Evening Snack and Dinner

For evening snack you can eat vegetable idli, chicken soup, chicken cutlet, mixed vegetable uttapam, bread cutlet, chicken sandwich, a cup of green tea, cheese and corn sandwich, carrot or lawki halwa, a bowl of dried dates or dry fruits. For dinner you can eat plain parantha with a glass of buttermilk, rice with dal, some green salad, spinach vegetable.
